First Solar inks module supply agreement with Green Infra

First Solar Inc, the world's largest Thin film (CdTe) module manufacturer in the world has said that they have finalised on module supply agreement with Green Infra's 25 MW Solar project in Rajasthan.

Green Infra has assigned Juwi as the EPC for the project. The project will produce 46 million Kwhr units of electricity per year, which will equate to annual electricity consumption of about 19,000 average Indian households. GreenInfra also said that the project will displace more than 44,000 metric tons of CO2 per year based on national averages.
