Indo-French firm planning to develop 100 to 150MW Solar farms

PR Fonroche (link), the joint venture between france based Fonroche Energie and Mumbai based PR Clean Energy has said they will invest nearly Rs 800 Crore in Indian Solar Market to develop 100 to 150MW solar plants.

Currently the PF Fonroche group is developing two Solar projects under JNNSM Phase-I Batch-II, which includes 5MW Fonroche Raajhans and 15MW Fonroche Saaras, both in Bikaner, Gujarat. Also they are planning to commission 5MW Solar Project in Rajasthan next week.

PR Fonroche to participate in Multiple bids:

Pratap Raju, the joint managing director, PR Fonroche said the company has  plans to participate in 2013 NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam (NVVN) tenders in for 50 MW and the Andhra Pradesh state government tender (link).

Under the scheme proposed by Solar Energy Corporation of India, PR Fonroche has plans to bid for building 50 MW capacity. They will also bid for 7.5MW RPSSPG Scheme. 

PR Fonroche has also plans for developing Solar Projects for private customers such as steel mills. Pratap Raju says "We are in talks with a steel manufacturer to set up 10 MW plant to help the company meet its renewable purchase obligation and a pharma company for a 20 MW plant."
