Gamesa will supply G87- 2.0 MW Class S and G90-2.0 MW wind turbines to China’s Longyuan Group

One of China’s largest utility company- Longyuan Group signed an order with Gamesa  to supply 48 MW of capacity of its  G87- 2.0 MW Class S and G90-2.0 MW  wind turbines for a wind farm that the utility is building in Jiangkou of Fujian Province, in China.
 
A total of 24 sets of G87- 2.0 MW Class S and G90-2.0 MW wind turbines will be supplied by Gamesa to the utility.  Up  to now, both Gamesa and Longyuan Group has jointly cooperated a total of 1,728 MW projects in the past years.
 
Gamesa’s new G87-2.0 MW Class S includes design improvements to be able to be installed in close to Class I condition sites, increasing energy production compared to the former G80-2.0 MW Class I by more than 8%.
