The lowest bid rate for TANGEDCO 1000 MW Solar Tender is Rs 5.97/KWh.
The Lowest Bid was from Mohan Breweries, which bid for a 10MW Solar Project. Also TANGEDCO received bids only for about 500
megawatts, which is disappointing. As a result the TANGEDCO followed the 'L1' method of bidding, through which Tangedco negotiated a price with the bidder who has quoted the
least price (L-1), and then ask other bidders to match that price.
According to Economic Times (link), Of the 500 mega watt, 40% of the capacity has been bid in Rs 7 to 8
range, 60 MW below Rs 7, about 75 MW are above
Rs 10 and for the remaining 141 MW are between Rs 8 and Rs 10.
