Ciel et Terre and IFP Enerigies nouvelles (IFPEN) is planning to install their Floating Solar Platform, Hydrelio© in the Kerala Backwaters and eastern and northeastern regions.
CIEL et Terre is moving alone, in the kerala region, while it has partnered with kolkata based Klystron Electronics Pvt Ltd to install the system eastern and northeastern regions.
Now the Question arises? What is Hydrellio.
Recently Renew India Campaign, introduced, Hydrelio to the Indian Public through our Blog. Hydrellio
is nothing but a basic module, which contains two blow molded floats
made of plastic (HDPE) and the first float supports the solar panel and
second one can be used as a link which will cater maintenance access.
Solar islands are formed by joining these floats, using an
ultra-resistant system of connection pins.
