Henrietta Solar project, a 100MW solar project in California which is being developed by American Solar power house SunPower has inked a Power Purchase Agreement with Pacific Gas & Electric(PG&E).
The Construction of the project is expected to start in early 2015 and end by late 2016.
The PPA was signed as a 25 year agreement. The100 MW Henrietta Solar Project will provide power equivalent for 36,000 average homes. Sunpower said that the project will utilize SunPower Oasis Power block Technology.
SunPower Oasis Power block Technology Features:
- 435 Watt Sunpower Solar Modules
- It uses Tracking (SunPower T0) Mounting and Racking systems instead of Fixed tilt Racking systems.
- It includes premanufactured cabling systems specific for SunPower projects.
