India's newly elected President Pranab Mukherjee flagged off "Solaris" which is a solar module powered passenger car which was developed by students of the DTU (Delhi Technological University).
This Car is set to compete at Sasol Solar Challenge, which will held between September 15th to 29th in South Africa. The Racing tournament covers over 4,200km along the South African Cost lines.
