Keltron, which is India’s first and the largest electronics corporation operating in the
State sector has announced it's plans to Mass Produce, LED lighting systems.
According to Indian Express and Keltron Officials, it will start rolling out, T5 LED tube lights (Green Star), from it's Mudadi manufacturing facility, near Kozhikode. The Company officials said that the product will be a plug and play system, and will also be Wall/Ceiling mountable. Officials also said that this new Green Star Lighting systems use at least 50% less power for it's operations, compared to the existing conventional lighting systems. Also Keltron will follow it's green star launch, by the release of GCT8 LED Retrofit Tube Lights.
Keltron (link) plans to dig deep into the LED Market, by introducing LED bulbs, LED down lights, LED 2’x 2’ ceiling panels, LED streetlights, LED solar stand-alone streetlights and home lights and LED industrial lights for hazardous areas in the coming Months.
