Mytrah Energy, One of India's largest Independent Power Producers purely focusing in Wind Generation has announced it's New Plans of Developing a 300MW Wind Farm in South Indian State of Andhra Pradesh.
According to Hindu, the Company is planning to invest 2000 crore in this Project and they are planning to complete the same by the end of 2014. Andhra Pradesh has acted as a sweet spot for the Company. Currently they have installed capacity of 63 MW in Andhra Pradesh through the Vajrakarur project. Also 37.4 MW Wind Farm is also under construction in Kurnool, which is expected to be commissioned by the Sept'13. If all goes well planned the company will install 300 MW in Andhra Pradesh by end of 2014.

of another 100 MW in Andhra Pradesh. We are in advance stages of
approval for a further 100 MW capacity." said

All India Plans
The Company has a total of 274 MW of assets under advanced stages of development and are
expected to be delivered in stages by September 2013, extending the
company’s presence to over six states in India. The company also has a
further 900 MW in its active development pipeline that are expected to
be completed by 2015. Going forward, MEIL has plans to build its
portfolio to achieve 5000 MW of wind power by 2017-18.
