Pope Gifted Renault Electric Car - Kangoo Maxi ZE

French Automobile giant Renault has donated Pope Benedict XVI,  the current head of the Catholic church two new electric vehicles, which is based on the Kangoo Maxi ZE, an electric and updated version of the Kangoo delivery van used throughout European countries. These cars have 60 horsepower engine and range of about 100 miles.

One of the cars, painted pure white will be used by the Pope for his travels to his summer resthouse in Castel Gandolfo.

Second Car will be used by Pope's Police force in vatican, Gendarmerie Corps. The car will be painted blue with yellow and white stripes on it's sides.

Other Common features-

- Two individual rear seats, suitable for a Papal posterior.
- Opening roof, and a retractable side-step for the pope to easily board on the car.
- Coach parts will be built by Renault by collaboration with Gruau, a French Coachbuilder.

Renault CEO and Chairman Carlos Ghosn will hand over the Car's to his holiness
