The Third and the final US presidential debate took place in Boca Ranton, Florida. The key debate was with regards to the key government foreign policies.
Though the Debate was fully filled with Iran, Syria uprisal and Millitary spending cuts, Green energy also made a good impact.
Both President Obama and Mitt Romney debated on the clean energy federal funding in US. President Obama stressed on the fact that support for Clean and advanced science and technologies must be increased inorder to compete with nations like China.
"We will lose the lead in things like clean energy technology” if basic research funding falls, Obama said.
Mitt Romney heavily criticized Obama for giving Solyndra,a solar panel maker $535 million federal loan guarantee which later was Bankrupt in 2011.
The US and China solar trade dispute had a great impact on relationships between the two countries. Earlier this year, US government imposed an anti-subsidy and anti-dumping tariffs on Chinese solar firms.
Most of the Chinese firms, such as Trina Solar, Suntech which sell solar cells or panels in the U.S., the tariffs will range between 34 and 47 percent. Other smaller companies were imposed a higher import duty.
