Solar Power Pvt Ltd (ESPL), which is promoted by CPEC Limited has
commissioned their 5 MW Solar PV Project in Shivlakha village situated
in Taluka Bhachau, Kutch district, Gujurat.
This
5MW ground mounted PV Project was commissioned on 23 Sept 2012, says
the CEO of CPEC. ESPL has a 25 year power purchase agreement (PPA) under
Phase 1, with the Gujarat Government for 5MW of Solar power generation.
As per the PPA, GUVNL shall purchase power at the revised tariffs per
GERC Order of Jan 2012.
ESPL
has also signed an MOU with Gujarat Government at Vibrant Gujarat 2008
for installing 100 MW of solar power. This MOU is valid and can be
converted into PPAs as and when the company is ready to do so.
