Yingli Solar inks 288MW Solar Module Supply deal for China's Golden Sun projects

Yingli Solar, a Major Chinese Solar Module Manufacturer based in Baodin, China said in a Press Release that their Chinese Wing has inked a 288MW Solar PV module supply deal with several Projects Under the Golden Sun Program in China.

Golden Sun Program allotted 2.83 GW of Solar PV Installations across China. Yingli Chairman and CEO Liansheng Miao said that "As a world's leading solar company with roots in China, we have been committed to developing our domestic market and have obtained a solid market position and a leading market share," 

"The acceleration of the Golden Sun Program and the announcements of other incentive policies have clearly demonstrated China's strong determination of promoting solar applications." 

Yingli also stated that it had supplied modules to about a quarter of the projects under the Golden Sun Program since 2009. 

Yingli Also Powering Ahead in US:

Yingli Green Energy Americas also said in press release that they have supplied 25 MW of solar PV modules to Arizona's Queen Creek Solar Farm. The project which is owned by PSEG Solar Source, and developed by Colorado-based EPC firm, juwi solar Inc. 

The Project Utilized over 90,000 Yingli 72 Cell Solar PV Modules and used Single Axis Tracking systems. Also the Project has secured a 20 year PPA from the "Salt River Project", one of the nation's largest Utilities, having nearly 1 Million metered customers in Central Arizona.
